From a very young age I always liked serving other people, I was part of the CR Guides and Scouts movement and I was a Volunteer Firefighter for several years. In 2000, I won a scholarship to study medicine at the Latin American School of Medicine in Cuba, I graduated in 2006 and was given the opportunity to continue studies in the Specialty of Family Medicine which I concluded in 2008, the year in which I began my studies in dermatology at the Hospital Hermanos Ameijeiras in the city of Havana, one of the most recognized in the Island. On my return to Costa Rica I worked in Monseñor Sanabria Hospital in Puntarenas and Moreno Cañas Clinic in San José, in addition I worked for several years as professor of undergraduate of several Universities in the race of Médicina. I am a member of the Costa Rican Society of Dermatology (ASCODE, Latin American Society of Psoriasis (SOLAPSO), and the World Society of Dermatoscopy.
